    On Feb 19 – 23, Iman will bring together the strong minds and hearts of those yearning to practice happiness. The Happiness Program focused on a holistic relaxation, bring the components, of mind, body and soul together and exuberant the essence from within. Iman, the first Art of Living teacher in Jordan, taught the course to help empower the individual and understand how to live a balanced, happy life.

    Understanding that the happiness does not come from the course, rather it comes from within since the beginning. The Art of Living Foundation in Jordan supported the Happiness Program, as its principles are yoga, breathing, meditation, knowledge and fun.

    Iman Mutlaq is an inspiration to many gave the experience of hearing her stories and her knowledge to spread love amongst all. The course was purposed on the basis of stress-elimination with effective breathing techniques and simple life-guiding principles from ancient scriptures. Therefore, the course gave easy techniques to its participants to use on a daily basis helping to transform positively the lives of all.

    On Tuesday the 31st of January, Ms. Iman Mutlaq, Dr Nisreen Al Otaibi from IAHV Jordan and Dr Katrien Hertog from IAHV U.K. kicked off our upcoming project 'Healing, Non Violent Empowerment and Preventing Extremism Project' by conducting a discussion panel to address the needs of the Syrian refugees along with the Jordanian members of the host community. Attendees included the Director of Syrian Refugees Affairs, representatives from the Ministry of Culture, program managers from Save the Children- Jordan, Jordan River Foundation (JRF) the Islamic Center Charity Society, Noor Al Hussein Foundation - Institute for Family Health, International Relief and Development, Madrasati Initiative, and Terres des Hommes The discussion mainly centered around the types of violence that exist within the community, what the causes were, what kinds of services are being provided to target that type of violence and where the gaps exist.

As a mother there are milestones in their children’s lives that represent new chapters through growth, which brings undefined pride. Iman’s youngest son Ahmed received his degree in International Banking and Finance from Franklin University, Switzerland. On May 16, 2016, Ahmed received his diploma and celebrated the joy he has been working for years to achieve. Iman was there by his side as she watched him succeed in the journey through his studies. This accomplishment is only the first of many that Ahmed will conquer in his life, and as a proud mother, Iman has supported him through all.

    The Global Alliance Partners met together in the Sofitel New York on May 9 to collectively share the partner’s projects and accomplishments of each international financial firm. The partners venture from all parts of the world, therefore bringing together the markets of the world in one room. The Global Alliance Partners allow the fortitude of the international entrance of deal transactions, window to cross- border research, and platform for placement capabilities with execution of trades throughout 120 countries. On May 9, Ms. Mutlaq gave fellow partners a presentation of the project of EGYCOMEX, through the initiative of Sigma Investments Co. Thus, introducing the cooperation of a worldwide network for the Egyptian Commodities Exchange, the first fully electronic, agricultural commodities exchange in the MENA region.

    Furthermore, on May 10 presented renowned financial firms to join the conference and speak about there works hosted by New York brokerage firm Auerbach Grayson & Co. The GAP Conference held many contingents in the financial industry and allowed a forum of experienced leaders in the field to speak about their opinions and suggestions. The GAP Annual Conference give the opportunity for partners to create a more dynamic and systematic progression of financial initiatives meeting in one of the central financial hubs in the world, New York City.

    The annual event served as a platform for many successful individuals to come together and share their experience with stereotypes, difficulties and progress of women in business. Iman served on the panel on the topic of, “Addressing and Defeating our Unconscious Bias: The Need to Engage Men in the Gender Discourse” sharing her view that it takes us to teach our children a loving way of thinking, so the generations to come will be a world of inclusion and peace.

    Iman Mutlaq first hand provides evidence of a successful woman ever more in the aspect of cultural limitations. However, her hard work, focus, and love have given her the ability to be recognized as a leading woman in business. Thus she honorably received the award of, Best Woman for the Corporate Sector for this year’s event.

  • Egypt to launch ag commodities bourse by year-end after feasibility study had been completed

    Egypt announced plans to set up a global commodities centre in 2014, but gave few details at the time.

    Hanafi said that a feasibility study had been completed and the next step was to draw up regulations and establish the electronic infrastructure to connect farmers with traders.

    "We're going to set up the first commodities exchange in Egypt and the Middle East," Iman al Mutlaq, chief executive of Sigma Investments, which is involved in the project, said.

    The bourse would begin with eight commodities — six agricultural commodities, oil and gold — and that this small number would help promote high initial volumes, she added.

    "We aren't going to simply copy and paste other exchanges. This is going to be an Egyptian exchange. There will be price discovery, and we will put prices in Egyptian pounds," said Mutlaq.

    As part of the exchange's launch, a mobile application will be offered to Egyptian farmers that will allow them to have their agricultural output tracked by the market, electronically linking their crops to the exchange, Mutlaq said.

Heading now to Sulaymaniyah Iraq with Dr. Nisreen to celebrate the graduation of another 53 great women who just completed successfully their hotel and tourism management training diploma, and by this, we proudly announce the completion of the whole IAHV (ACWP) Advancing Career Women project in Iraq, where 400 Iraqi women received more than 200 hours of intensive academic training in their industry from the University of Jordan with the objective of increasing their knowledge in their field and leadership skills that will earn them promotions and salary increases in their place of work.

    With planning and practicing she plans on climbing mount Kilimanjaro summit with great fellow teammates in support of the foundation during the month of February 2014. As Peter Marshall once said The measure of life is not its duration, but its donation. This new foundational campaign project in Jordan is currently in process for its expansion in a local hospital. The campaign aims to raise funds for the expansion of the King Hussein Cancer Center KHCC. Nothing in life is left behind you but your good deeds, forever you will get blessed with love from people you helped out in life by making a big impact on people diagnosed with cancer, and growing in the future as a legacy to all.
